Melissa Dubina Spangler

Melissa Spangler was born in Miami, Florida and raised in Miami and Montgomery, Alabama .  She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Florida College of Law where she was a member of the Justice Campball Thornal Moot Court Board and where she won Best Oralist in the Zimmerman, Shuffield, Kiser & Sutcliffe Final Four Competition, 1987.  She has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1989 and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator since 1994.  Melissa is a member of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys , the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the St. Petersburg Bar Association.   Melissa, her husband, Joe and two sons live in St. Petersburg .  Her practice areas include asset preservation and Medicaid planning, special needs, incapacity and estate planning.
