John Green was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida.  He is a graduate of St. Petersburg College and University of Florida, obtained his law degree from Stetson University of Law and an L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University.  He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1960, is admitted to practice before all Florida and Federal Courts, and is a Martindale-Hubbell Pre-eminent “AV” Peer Review Rated Attorney.

He is a member of the following organizations:  Suncoasters, Inc., (Past President); Pioneer Park Foundation (Director and Secretary); Suncoast Estate Planning Council; St Petersburg Yacht Club (Past Commodore); St. Petersburg Quarterback Club (Past President); Member of the Health Facilities Authority for the City of St. Petersburg; former Chairman of the Board of Adjustment for the City of St. Petersburg; an Eagle Scout and the Founder and former Chairman of the Annual Distinguished Citizen Award Banquet benefiting the West Central Florida Council of Boy Scouts of America.

He and his late wife, Jeannine Harris Green, have three adult children and five grandchildren, most of whom live in St. Petersburg, Florida.

His practice area include estate planning, probate and trust administration, commercial and residential real estate transactions, business law, corporations and LLCs, and taxation.
