Meet David Wilsey

Attorney & Partner

David Wilsey was born in Alexandria, Virginia and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is a graduate of Furman University, recognized as a distinguished military graduate. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger and a Military Intelligence Officer, where he attained the rank of Captain. He obtained his law degree from Stetson University in 1986, has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1987 and has served on the Florida Bar’s Fee Arbitration Committee, where he sat on a panel to resolve fee disputes between clients and their attorneys.

David is an avid outdoorsman and cyclist. In 2009, acting as team navigator, his team won the Co-Ed Masters National Championship in the United States Adventure Racing Association Long Course National Championship held in French Lick, Indiana. He lives in St. Petersburg, Florida with his wife, Lisa. He has two children, Abby and Chase, both of whom practice law at the firm. David’s practice areas include estate planning, probate and trust administration, will and trust litigation, commercial and residential real estate transactions and litigation, business law, corporations/LLC, and commercial transactions.
